- The U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) in New London, CT intents to award sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for quotes; a solicitation RFQ package will not be issued. Under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the contract will be awarded to Software House International (SHI) Corporation for annual Microsoft licensing product subscriptions at the Coast Guard Academy, during Academic school years 2019-2020. The CG Academy Information System Division has a campus consortium agreement with Northeast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP). This consortium co-exists solely with Software House International (SHI), which provides all Microsoft products to the Northeast colleges. FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
