- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is HoodRangeDPTMS0006 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339950 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2019-03-19 12:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Hood, TX 76544 The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Fort Hood Range Operations wants to purchase 60 Limit Markers for Live Fire Ranges. The signs must be made of Aluminum that is 3/16 thick. Signs must meet the exact specifications in the attachment and described here: The signs will be erected on the vertical axis (right side of diagram) Overall height is 8ft. (vertical axis on the left of diagram [base]). Each colored section (orange and white) must be the width indicated along the base and throughout the painted area to the point of the formed triangle. Overall width from the base (left to right of diagram) to point of the triangle is 8ft. Spacing from the base of the center white triangle to the tip is 36 inches. Spacing from the base to the tip of the first orange triangle is 60 inches. Spacing from the tip of the first white triangle to the tip of the first orange triangle is 24 inches. Spacing from the tip of the first orange triangle to the tip of the second white triangle is 12 inches. Spacing from the tip of the second white triangle to the tip of the second (outermost) orange triangle is 24 inches. Signs must be designed and built as one unit with space between the orange and white areas to allow us to wrap a thermal blanket around the white areas of the Limit Marker. The Orange must be a reflective Orange in accordance with ANSI Z535.1.
