- Red River Army Depot has a requirement for the following: Aquatic Vegetation Removal Services on Caney Creek Reservoir on Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Texas. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform aquatic vegetation removal. The purpose of this contract is to reduce the coverage of floating and submerged, aquatic vegetation on the Red River Army Depot's (RRAD) Caney Creek Reservoir in northeast Texas, in order to facilitate the application of pesticides at a later date. This project will involve removing of all aquatic vegetation that occurs between the depths of 2' and 5'. Total area of vegetation to be treated will include approximately 40-60 acres. After removal the contractor shall Transport and dump waste material to onshore sites designated by RRAD. The dump site will be designated by the COR will be on the Red River Army Depot and will be accessible by truck and loader. The Contractor shall obtain any and all licenses/permits, approvals, notifications, and other documentation necessary to properly conduct the services in this contract, at no additional cost to the United States Government (USG). The treatment shall occur on Caney Creek Reservoir during June, after complete coverage of vegetation is in place and as determined by the COR.
