- Pre-Solicitation Synopsis This is a Synopsis announcement in accordance with FAR 5.201 in anticipation of a future contract award. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is preparing a solicitation for the procurement of Diving and Diving Related Services (D&DRS) Operations to support the office of the Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, Director of Ocean Engineering (SUPSALV). The primary purpose of the D&DRS contract is to provide the necessary engineering and technical support to provide operational and non-operational support to the Navy's air, mixed gas, and saturation diving services program. The commercial source also provides and augments the engineering and technical services required to man, manage, maintain, and operate Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), as well as Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), to support worldwide salvage, diving, and Underwater Ship Husbandry (UWSH) operations. SUPSALV issues work on a delivery order basis for both operational and non-operational support, including emergent operations.
