- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, is posting a pre-solicitation notice to notify vendors of an upcoming solicitation for all small business sizes for fence posts for the Schaake Habitat Improvement Project. The Project lies south and west of the city of Ellensburg, WA and was formerly the site of a cattle feedlot and packing house. The infrastructure associated with this business was removed following Reclamation ¿s purchase of the property, with the exception of a pump house that still remains. The Project includes the construction of side channels and removal of the existing levee. A new flood protection berm will be constructed in an alignment away from the river. The applicable NAICS code is 321999 All Other Miscellaneous Wood Product Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. Period of Performance is anticipated with construction beginning in May 2019 through November 2019. Interested parties are asked to provide the following information: Business Name and DUNS number, Contact information, Business size and any additional socioeconomic classification(s), Bonding capability, including current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits, and Brief capabilities statement that addresses experience performing similar projects as a prime contractor. The planned solicitation date will be 13 March 2019.
