Description
Synopsis for Solicitation number N0018919Q0159 (US Navy Fleet Week New York Hotel Lodging Services) The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price commercial contract for hotel lodging services as required by Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA), Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (CNECC), Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC), Commander, Carrier Strike Group TEN (CCSG-10) and Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC). The procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 “ Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The period of performance will take place from 16 May 2019 through 29 May 2019. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110 “Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels; the Size Standard is $32.5M. This is a competitive, 100% Small Business Set Aside contracting action. A complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available for downloading at the NECO Website: http://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 5 April 2019 Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the offeror is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
