Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, intends to award a sole-source, contract to Sun Nuclear Corporation, 3275 Suntree Blvd, Melbourne, FL, 32940 for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1 (b). Period of Performance: Base year: March 14, 2019 to March 13, 2020 Option Year One: March 14, 2020 to March 13, 2021 Option Year Two: March 14, 2021 to March 13, 2022 Option Year Three: March 14, 2022 to March 13, 2023 Option Year Four: March 14, 2023 to March 13, 2024 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219, Small Business Administration (SBA) Size Standard $20.5 Million. Product Service Code (PSC) J065. Sun Nuclear Corporation shall furnish the Standard Maintenance Agreement for ArcCHECK, SNC Software, PC Electrometer,1D Scanner, 1D Scanner software, ICPROFILER, which shall provide routine preventative, calibrations and corrective maintenance in order to ensure optimal working condition and lessen the likelihood of down time. Sun Nuclear Corporation is the only authorized vendor to provide this service. Use of any unauthorized agent will void the warranty and service agreements for these systems. Quillen VA Medical Center VAMC, Mountain Home, TN) System ID System Name 218079002 ArcCHECK 141400001023 SNC Software 221748003 PC Electrometer 226023006 1D Scanner 1DS-226023006 1D Scanner Software 228834007 IC Profiler THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency on or before March 14, 2019, 12:00pm Central Standard Time to karen.williams13@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SUN NUCLEAR in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to the Contract Specialist, Karen Williams by email at karen.williams13@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements, including proof of training and certification for performing maintenance and service on the listed equipment and systems.
