- Description
- USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to The Louisiana Department of State Police, 7719 Independence Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. The award is in support of the 61st Troop Command Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear and High Yield Explosive - Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) exercise held in Baton Rouge, LA on 10-12 Jan 2019. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 72111. The requirements are for lodging, meals, classrooms, and security. This has been determined to be the best and most effective option for the government considering the unique training requirements. The government has completed extensive market research and found that only one training site can accommodate the logistical support and training requirements within the CERFP area of operations. All potential qualified sources must respond not later than 7 January 2019 1000 CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
