- DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall perform ships service diesel engine, top end overhaul & associated work for USCGC IDA LEWIS (WLM 551), a 175' Buoy Tender all in exact accordance with this solicitation and the attached specification. See Attachment 2. CONTRACT TYPE: This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ) that will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract solicited under FAR PART 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, subject to availability of funds. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
