- Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc., of 5926 Miller Lane, Christiana, TN, is being awarded an estimated $49,936,300, five year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract (H92403-19-D-0002) for the purchase of the Advanced Sniper Rifle (ASR) in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Program Executive Office, Warrior Systems, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Lethality. Fiscal Year 2019 research development test and evaluation (RDT&E) funds in the amount of $387,233.88 are being obligated at the time of award. The majority of work will be performed in Christiana, TN and work is expected to be completed by March 2023. This contract was awarded through full and open competition IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 with six proposals received. USSOCOM, Tampa, FL is the contracting activity.
