Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY The solicitation is not available at this time this notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a future requirement for Nephrology Services at the VA Medical Center located in Des Moines, IA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111, which has a size standard of $11.0 million. The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from the future solicitation. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and technical capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Nephrology Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. The Contractors physician(s)' care shall cover the range of Nephrology Services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding, currently recognized national standards as established by the American College of Physicians Internal Medicine http://www.acponline.org/clinical_information/guidelines/ and American Society of Nephrology (ASN) http://www.asn-online.org/education/training/fellows/educational-resources.aspx#Guidelines All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have their representations and certifications completed prior to submitting a proposal in response to a future solicitation.
