- Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract using DESIGN-BUILD selection procedures for the Correct USP 800 Deficiencies Project at the Omaha VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105. This project will include the design and construction of the correction of USP 800 Deficiencies. The upgrades specific to this scope of work include renovating an existing pharmacy space to meet USP compliance requirements. Areas include but are not limited to the following location(s): storage areas, ante-room, compounding(buffer) rooms, and other associated existing pharmacy space. Upgrades include but are not limited to the following items: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls, low voltage systems, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and electrical systems. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 8, 2019. The period of performance is approximately 600 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is NOT a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to samantha.mihaila@va.gov.
