- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Thermmax under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to procure a one (1) year contract with four (4) option years for Preventative Maintenance located at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Academy, Quantico, VA. The contractor shall provide all labor, test equipment, tools, transportation, and replacement parts to maintain eight (8) walk in cold rooms located within the FBI Laboratory building. The contractor shall perform all work required to accomplish the preventative maintenance procedures. Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in the Government and the related industry, Thermmax is the sole provider of service agreements covering their products. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are advised that no solicitation document is available for this requirement, however they may identify their interest and capacity by submitting a capability statement by 12:00 PM EST, Friday, 30 March 2019. The capability statement must reference FBI/FAU Number DJF-19-0700-PR-0004550. The capability statement should be sent to Vontrice Pearson via email to vmpearson@fbi.gov. The Government will not pay for any information received. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
