- Page 3 of 3 The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is searching for vendors with the capability to provide a two day, Certified Instructor lead, 2017 National Electric Code Training course (see Attachment 1 below), located at the Clement J. Zablocki Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. The vendor must be able to meet all the minimum requirements stated in the statement of work (listed below). Interested responsible sources must submit a summary of their capabilities to this office by 0900 CST on Friday, May 22, 2019 to include detailed description of the firm s experience in conducting the 2017 National Electric Code training, DUNS number, name and phone number of a point of contact in case further information is needed. Summaries must be submitted via email to Della.Bond@va.gov. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The procurement will be completed under NACIS 611519. Please note that this is not a request for proposal and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. Look for any further information in FedBizOpps. Telephone inquiries will not be returned. STATEMENT OF WORK National Electric Code (NEC) 2017. Training will be conducted at the Clement J. Zablocki Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI for up to 14 participants (estimated). The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, quality control, and management necessary to accomplish the deliverables as described in this statement of work (SOW). The training will consist of: Day 1: Review of safety, electrical drawings, meters, troubleshooting basics, troubleshooting components, circuits, motors and PPE. Introduction to NEC Chapter 1 General Chapter 2 Wiring and Protection Chapter 3 Wiring Methods and Materials Day 2: Complex electrical troubleshooting of power distribution systems, lighting circuits, VFDs, PLCs, and preventative maintenance. Chapter 4 Equipment for General Use Chapter 5-8 Specific information on occupancies, equipment, conditions and communication systems. Chapter 9 How to quickly use ready information A training certificate of completion to be provided for each attendee and the 1.6 CEUs must be acceptable by the State of Wisconsin for Electrical License. Contractor to provide documentation their training is accepted by the State of Wisconsin.
