Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk of Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to procure, on a sole source basis, various distilling unit items from Aqua-Chem Inc. (CAGE Code 0EXU3). The end use is for repair of the US Navy ship's distilling units. Aqua-Chem is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only acceptable manufacturer. A technical data package and drawings are NOT available. Contract type will be Firm Fixed Price and delivery is FOB Destination to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The procurement will be unrestricted utilizing FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Subpart 13.5 (Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items). NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-DEC-2018).
