Description

Pre Solicitation Announcement The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following project. This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation. Accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Those questions will only be answered via an amendment to the solicitation, once it is issued. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents, It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about May 15, 2019. The entire solicitation package, including all attachments, will be available electronically at www.FBO.GOV. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. PROJECT SCOPE: Provide materials and install approximately 18,500 sf of Type X fire rated mold and mildew resistant gypsum board, tape and finish to a smooth wall surface. Provide code compliant air-born and impact sound rated ceiling system at all first floor ceilings. Place of Performance: Fort Cronkhite, Sausalito, CA 94965 Golden Gate National Recreation Area; Marin County, California. NAICS No. for this project is: 238310 This project is set aside for Total Small Business. Per FAR 52.228-13, ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT PROTECTIONS ARE REQUIRED ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $25,000 & $100,000. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MATERIAL, LABOR, EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, AND EXPERTISE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT IN ACCORDANCEWITH THE STATEMENT of WORK NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
