- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors to perform all operations necessary for the replacing of boiler #1 refractory, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. Work includes, but is not limited to, removing all existing flooring from the core clinic and installing new flooring according to the drawings and specifications, constructing 2 new offices and modifying current HVAC. This work will take place at building 7 in the core clinic area. The contractor shall complete all work as further described in the construction documents. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Contractor is to provide all materials and complete all work with little to no effect or down time to the boiler plant and surrounding buildings. Work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications. There is an anticipated Site Visit in February 2019. Location: W.G. Hefner VAMC 1601 Brenner Avenue Salisbury, NC 28144 Work to be performed in strict accordance with specification and/or drawings. The proposed NAICS 236220 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $36.5 Million. All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to craig.powell@va.gov. However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered.
