Description

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Panama City Site Office in Panama City, Florida, requires to procure one Trane XR 2-Ton heat pump condensing unit and one Trane TCONT800 Series Touch Screen Programmable Control Comfort thermostat to replace the existing same brand heat pump unit and thermostat that suffered damage due to the impact of Hurricane Michael in October 2018. The replacement heat pump system and respective thermostat is required to be compatible with the other existing units that service the Panama City Site Office. Replacing the damaged unit with the same Brand Name unit will ensure compatibility with the existing air handler to guarantee an efficiency rating of 14 SEER to match the existing system, consistency, and optimal operation and comfort in the site office.
