Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate and award FY18-23 Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) AN/SPY-6(V) Integration and Production Support (I&PS) requirements on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Road E, Marlborough, Massachusetts 01752. The requirements consist of continued combat system integration and test, training, sustainment engineering, software maintenance, and follow-on field engineering and level-of-effort technical engineering services in support of production under the current AMDR-S/RSC Engineering and Manufacturing Development/Low Rate Initial Production (EMD/LRIP) contract (N00024-14-C-5315). The contemplated contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Raytheon is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet these requirements without unacceptable delays. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon Company directly. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
