- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 located in Charleston, SC intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed priced contract to LPIT Solutions, Inc., 25 Commerce Avenue SE Suite 200, Grand Rapids, MI 49503-4199. LPIT Solutions will provide TrackCore Implant Tracking System services for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401-5703. This requirement will be sole sourced due to the fact that the TrackCore system delivers a cost-efficient, easy-to-use software product for managing the chain of custody for tissues and surgical implants, while adhering to compliance regulations and Federal Standards. TrackCore s intuitive functionality provides for quick and accurate data retrieval, enhancing patient safety while minimizing administrative costs. The TrackCore Implant and Tissue Tracking System from LPIT Solutions is the only implant tracking tool available that provides the complete scope of work that is required by VHA. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 511210 Software Publishers with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 3:00 P.M. EST, Friday August 10, 2018 to: steven.bentley@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
