- Notice of intent to Award Sole Source - Solicitation W912EE19Q0028 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers- Vicksburg District, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, intends to award a sole source purchase order to furnish and install one Cummins factory reconditioned complete engine with all major components to Cummins Inc, 325 New Highway 49 South Jackson, MS 39218 for Kenworth Engine Replacement W800864. A copy of the Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no solicitation is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it is capable of meeting the Vicksburg District's requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement; which, if received within five (5) calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
