- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is KNOXUSARECG4-SJM0017 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336214 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2019-03-27 13:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Knox, KY 40121 The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Trailer with gooseneck hitch brand name or equal to a FeatherLight 1641 1. All Aluminum Gooseneck hitch trailer with an interior width of 98-100 inches. (except in wheel well area) 2. 28 foot minimum to 32 foot maximum exterior length 3. Must provide a minimum of 21 feet of interior floor space, not counting the gooseneck area 4. 78 inch to 84 inch interior height 5. Tandem 9,000 lb (or greater) axles with brakes on each axle 6. Suspension, air ride, brand name or equal to Dexter Airflex 7. Fully insulated floor, walls and ceiling 8. Three entry/exit points (rear ramp door and 32-36 inch side doors across from each other) see the attached drawing for approximate positions 9. Smooth exterior siding 10. Venting in the gooseneck area to allow the generators to be operated with the compartment doors closed 11. Full black exterior, including siding, wheels, rims. 12. Bogey wheels or roller at the rear of the trailer 13. LED exterior lights (clearance, brake, turn, running) 14. Electric landing leg system. 15. LT heavy duty tires (10 Ply minimum) with full size onboard spare; aluminum wheels and stainless steel lug nuts 16. Slip resistant diamond plate style floor throughout the interior and on the back drop down floor. 17. 10LB ABC fire extinguisher discreetly mounted in the interior of the trailer 18. All DOT required industry standard break away chains/cables/reflectors 19. Automatic break away brake system Interior cargo tie downs 1. E-Track style cargo tie down the full length of the floor of the trailer mounted 36 inches in from each edge of the trailer 2. E-Track style cargo tie down the full length of the walls of the trailer mounted 36 inches up from the floor the trailer Generators 1. 2 each inverter generators mounted in the gooseneck (not portable, see floor plan for concept drawing) that are rated as quiet/ultra-quiet by the manufacturer 2. Generator compartments shall be accessible from outside and inside of the trailer for maintenance 3. Each generator shall have a running capacity between 5,000 and 6,500 watts 4. Electric start from the interior of the trailer with generator/fuel status panel 5. On board fuel tank that will allow at least 14 hours of continuous operation at full load that can be filled via a filler tube/door on the left side of the trailer 6. 10LB ABC fire extinguisher mounted in/near generator compartment Electrical 1. Full LED interior lighting package with wall switch by both side doors. (ability to be powered by generator and tow vehicle power) 2. Fully wired with 12vdc and 120vac with exterior 120vac receptacles 3. Weather proof power distribution panel (padlock lockable) for each generator that can be accessed from the exterior of the trailer, that contains 4 each 20 amp duplex outlets and 1 each L6-30 30 amp outlet. Does not require all outlets in one distribution box if not possible to source. Multiple exterior boxes are sufficient. Multiple Taymac Model # MX6200 or Intermatic WP1030MXD or better.
