- The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the supply of white oak lumber and white oak shakes for the historic Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway NP, Floyd VA 24091. The project site is located at historic Mabry Mill located along the Blue Ridge Parkway NP, Floyd County, VA 24091, and the delivery of lumber and shakes to 1670 Blue Ridge Parkway Floyd, VA 24091. 1670 Blue Ridge Parkway is accessible via Route 8. Please note that this solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Firm Fixed Price Award All vendors interested in participating in this solicitation must have the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code registered in System for Award Management (SAM): The NAICS code 321113 Sawmills and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS code 321114 Wood Preservation and the size standard is 500 employees. NACIS code 321999 All Other Miscellaneous Wood Product Manufacturing and the size standard 500 employees. This solicitation will result in a contract with a period of (90) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Required Supply: The contractor shall provide all lumber and shakes delivered as outlined in Specifications of the cut lumber and hand split shakes. Park Unit will unload. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
