- This sources sought announcement is for information, planning and market research purposes only. It does *not* constitute a commitment on the Government's part; therefore a contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement nor does this sources sought does commit the Government to any solicitation. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Belvoir (MICC), on behalf of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) seeks capability for turf and grounds maintenance of approximately 667 acres, to include: mowing and trimming, edging; trash, debris and floral pickup and resetting; leaf removal; preparation of special ceremony sites; filling and grading; top-dressing; sodding; snow and ice removal; post-burial care to casketed gravesites; post-burial care to cremated remains; liquid pesticide applications; liquid pesticide spot treatments; granular pesticide applications, granular fertilizer applications, PH level adjustment/soil amendment applications; core aeration; aerovation; dethatching; turf renovation; soil structure repair; hydro-seeding; operating, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems; spot watering; slit seeding; over seeding; and collecting and submitting soil samples.
