Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Abbott Laboratories for a six-month period of performance starting on 1 April 2019. This requirement is for the lease six (6) analyzers and associated reagents with FDA approval for chemistry and immunoassay testing under a cost-per-test arrangement for the Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services, William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, Texas. The Abbott Architect analyzers are currently in place. The bridge contract will allow for continuance of critical laboratory testing for WBAMC while the follow-on contract is finalized. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413, In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration's size standard 1,250 employees.
