- Description
- The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Steamtown National Historic Site, Scranton, PA, intends to issue a Request for Proposal, 140P4219R0003, for the milling and paving of the asphalt surface of the visitor center 900 parking lot, consisting of approximately 129,600 sq. ft. of parking areas. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision to mill, pave and paint the parking area. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about April 9, 2019. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM, System for Award Management, in order to receive a contract award. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238990, All Other Specialty Trace Contractors with a size standard of $15M. The magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee will be required with the Solicitation; Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of award. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective offeror ¿s are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing an offer. The date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation.
