Description
The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System is seeking to identify potential sources for future Brand Name or Equal requirement for Workstations on Wheels. The brand name item for reference is the Howard HI Care Base Cart. Minimum required specifications for equivalent products are as follows: Base Cart Power System 4-Tier locking storage Central control panel for drawer access, power system controls, battery fuel gauge, height adjustments and light controls. Motorized work surface height adjustment (34 sitting to 48 standing. Clinician must be able to sit to chart) LCD VESA monitor mount with motorized height adjustment. Mount must also be able to tilt, swivel and rotate. Work surface with translucent protective cover. (4) casters with (2) locking casters on front Locking PC compartment Ergonomic adjustable push handles Steering assist 6 AC receptacles for powering equipment 8FT power cord with hospital-grade AC plug Rear storage basket Mini waste bin Hand sanitizer mount External wireless antenna Wireless scanner mount Computer (i5 processor, 8GB Ram, 500 GB HDD, Wi-Fi, monopole antenna, Windows 7 64 bit) 22 LCD Monitor Barcode Scanner (Must include the following: BCMA Firmware and be FIPS 140-2 compliant) USB smart card reader (Must be FIPS-201 compliant) Washable Keyboard & Mouse Consent signature pad MUST COME FULLY ASSEMBLED, READY FOR USE ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST ALSO HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) DATABASE.
