Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with EZPass New Jersey Turnpike Authority located at 1 Turnpike Plaza, Woodbridge, NJ 07095, for the acquisition of monthy tolls for Official Government Vehicles. In accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Govenrment anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on response to this notice is solely within that of the Government. In accordance with the FAR, the Justification for Sole Source will be posted 14 days after the award. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Aquisition Procedures". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 488999, All Other Support Activities for Trasnportation. The business size standard is $7.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quotation. A request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is March 26, 2019 at 9:00am Eastern Time.
