Description
Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic has a requirement for the following Brand Name part: IDT Part Number: TSI148-133ILY; Description: IC PCI TO VMEBUS BRIDGE 456BGA; Quantity: (50) each. This board is responsible for signal processing for the Medusa System, which provides Indications and Warnings (I&W) functions. All firmware and software were developed to work with this board as well as information assurance accreditations and training material. As such, this board is part of the official baseline of the Medusa System. Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) is purchasing these boards as an End of Life (EOL) buy for sparing purposes. The required EOL part is the only part that has been tested and approved to adhere in form, fit, and function of the Medusa System. We are required to sustain these Medusa Systems indefinitely, and without this purchase, we will be unable to complete this mission. Storage for the IC PCI TO VMEBUS BRIDGE 456BGA is required to be in a temperature and humidity controlled semiconductor storage. No alternative manufacturers' parts are acceptable. IDT is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment being procured and holds all proprietary rights to the equipment. THIS ACTION IS TO COMPLETE MARKET RESEARCH TO DETERMINE WHETHER THERE IS ADEQUATE INTEREST FOR A POTENTIAL REQUIREMENT. This notice is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NIWC Atlantic market research. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. The government will not pay for information received in response to this notice.
