- The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System, Patient Care Services is seeking to identify potential sources for future Brand Name or Equal requirement for Workstations on Wheels for two VAPHS campuses. The brand name item for reference is the Howard HI Care Base Cart. A total of 30 carts are required, for Acute Care, Behavioral Health Inpatient, and Long Term Care Inpatient units. Required specifications for any product are as follows: Power System 4-Tier locking Storage (15 w/storage and 15 without total 30 WOWs) Acute Care 9 drawers (total of 15 carts) BH Inpatient and LTC no storage (total of 15 carts) Central control panel for drawer access, power system controls, battery fuel gauge, height adjustments and light controls Motorized work surface height adjustment 34.1: sitting to 47.5 standing crucial for staff to be able to sit while charting LCD VESA monitor mount with motorized height adjustment (6 range) Rear storage basket Mini waste bin Hand sanitizer mount External wireless antenna Wireless scanner mount Technology to be Included: Mini PC (integrated into cart and able to be placed in a locked compartment) -- minimum of 8GB RAM/500GB HDD 22 LCD Monitor FIPS 140-2 compliant Wireless Scanner USB smart card reader Washable Keyboard & Mouse Consent signature pad Laminated card for each workstation containing basic operating instructions ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST ALSO HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) DATABASE.
