- The US Coast Guard Shore Insfrstructure Logistics Center (SILC-East) Norfolk, VA intends to award a Sole Source contract to Informa Business Intelligence, to provide Subscription/Licensing for access to Maritmie Tracking Data via Seasearcher, and Lloyds List Databases. Specific Products: Seasearcher Site Licenses Alameda Lloyds List Online License Seasearcher Site Licenses United States The Statutory Authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by Other Than Full and Open Competition is citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Period of Performance is 5/16/2019 - 5/15/2020. The determination has been made to limit competition to Informa Business Intelligence, as they are the only known source to provide this support and maintenance interfaces. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes ONLY, and not a request for a competitive proposal. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice, are invited to submit a capability statement by 1:00 PM, Eastern, 4/10/2019, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Agency, via email to: michael.w.stephenson@uscg.mil. All interested sources will be considered. The determination not to compete the contract, based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are NOT accepted in response to this notice.
