Description
PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS CEDAR GROVE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL RFQ No. 140P8619Q0014 The National Park Service (NPS), Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks (SEKI), located in Fresno County, California, has a requirement for solid waste disposal. The intent of this service is to collect and dispose of solid waste in National Park Service administrative areas, campgrounds, and residential areas in the Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and incidentals necessary for the collection and disposal of solid wastes within the areas in Cedar Grove. The contractor shall furnish all solid waste bins required for use during the term of the contract, and any extensions thereof. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources with Small Business status may submit a proposal which, if timely received, will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111; the small business size standard is $38.5 Million. Award selection shall be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price. All work shall be performed under a single, fixed price purchase order. A base year is anticipated, with the option to extend the effective period of this contract up to four additional years. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about March 27, 2019 at either FBO: http://www.fbo.gov or FedConnect: http://www.fedconnect.net. The prospective Offeror is responsible for periodically checking these websites for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. Offerors will be required to complete online Representations and Certifications at the SAM website. Interested parties may explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks website to acquaint themselves with the general area and to view park maps at http://www.nps.gov/seki.
