- Page 1 of Page 1 of 2 Page 1 of Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSB offerors capable of providing the Fecal Reagents listed below: These are for the Philadelphia VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA 19104. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the below Statement of Need. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Business point of Contact. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at Ronald.Kline@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 12:00 pm (EST) on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to Ronald.Kline@va.gov NLT Monday, 4-1-19, 3:00 PM EST. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Automated VA FORM 2105 Page 2 of 2 The Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA 19104 has a need to purchase reagents for fecal occult blood testing that are compatible with the Polymedco OC Sensor Diana analyzer. Fecal Occult blood testing is used to detect gastrointestinal bleeding associated with disorders such as colorectal cancer, polyps and colitis. The estimated annual patient volume would be 3900 patients, monthly 325 patients. The following salient characteristics must be met. The following are the required characteristics, functional and performance specifications for the requested item. Salient Characteristics All reagents must be compatible with the OC Sensor Diana analyzer which is fully automated, continuous feed platform. All reagents must be barcoded. Reagents must be compatible with this immunochemistry methodology. Reagents must have barcodes to be read by the testing platform. Includes service to Polymedco OC Sensor Diana with one preventive maintenance call per year and any unscheduled repairs.
