- This Sources Sought cancels Solicitation N4008419R6502. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID / REQUEST FOR PROPSOAL. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, PWD Sasebo, is currently seeking interested contractors who are willing to provide proposal for the following project, Crack repairs and outer caisson seat repairs at Dry Dock#2 (DD#2) located at CFAS, Japan. The contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, material, tools, and equipment required to repair cracks and deteriorated areas on the concrete/stone walls and then survey and repair the outer caisson seat stone jambs to stop leaks between the caisson and stone jambs. The work will encompass 50 square meters of various crack/stone repairs along the dry dock walls and 120 linear meters of outer caisson seat repairs. The caisson seat repairs would be under flooded conditions. The Government anticipates soliciting with an award no sooner than September 2019 with a contract completion date (CCD) of 31 Jan 2019. If you are interested and capable of performing this work and meeting the CCD of 31 January 2019, please complete and submit Attachment (1): KTR Information and Response. Please provide any comments/recommendations/questions in this form. The response will be used as market research to help determine the acquisition method utilized by the Government for this requirement. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be eligible for award. Interested contractors not already registered in the SAM database are highly encouraged to do so http://www.sam.gov. Registration in SAM is free. Submission Instructions: Interested contractors are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 10:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time on 12 April 2019.
