Description

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is managing the Legacy Management (LM) Program including the Rocky Flats Site (Site). Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. the Legacy Management Support Contractor for the DOE Office of Legacy Management, is seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) from prospective offerors to install systems of ground anchors and reaction blocks and systems of trench drains on the west and east sides of the Original Landfill (OLF). The project scope also includes surface grading and the reconstruction of berms and channels as required to maintain positive drainage along the slopes of the OLF. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. The site is located east of Highway 93 and Westgate Road and north of Woman Creek. The area of the OLF slopes downward from north to south towards Woman Creek at an approximate 17% (6H:1V) slope.
