Description

This Sources Sought Notice (SS) request number SPE605-19-RFI-1008 is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy). The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify vendors capable of supplying ground fuel requirements for Defense Logistics Agency Energy. This notice covers the ground fuels requirements for DLA Energy customers located in Ascension Auxiliary Airfield located in Ascension Island. Ascension Island is an isolated volcanic island located south of the Equator in the South Atlantic Ocean. It is about 1,600 kilometers (1,000 mi) from the coast of Africa and 2,250 kilometers (1,400 mi) from the coast of Brazil. The estimated annual quantity is potentially 115,000 USG Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel ULSD (DS2).
