Description

** UPDATE ** The Solicitation Plans and Specs are now available and attached to this announcement. Bids are due 29 April 2019 at 2:00 PM PST. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. W9127N19B0012 for the Coos Bay Upriver Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2019. This dredging project takes place near Coos Bay, Oregon in an upriver location between river mile 11+49 and 15+00. Approximately 730,000 cubic yards will be dredged as mandatory line items, with additional optional items depending on project needs and funding availability. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. Placement of dredged material will be located at a designated ocean in-water disposal site. Water Quality Monitoring will be required in accordance with the current water quality certificates. The Contractor can start work as early as July 1, 2019. with an anticipated completion date of October 31, 2019. This is an unrestricted procurement, solicited under full and open competition and is open to both small and large business concerns. A small business subcontracting plan will be required for large businesses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $27.5 million.
