This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures items found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N0018919Q0204. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2019-01 and DFARS Publication Notice 20190215. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333999 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside determination. The NAVSUP FLC Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: in accordance with attached Preliminary Specification referencing drawing 804-4563125 Rev C. Drawings may be provided via request by email. ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 1 Each USS DEXTROUS - CLIMBER SAFETY RAIL FFP IAW with the attached preliminary specifications NOTE: The requirements in DFARS 252.211-7003, Item Identification and Valuation, are applicable for this line item. The contractor shall provide DoD unique identification or a DoD recognized unique identification equivalent. ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0002 1 Each SHIPPING Shipping is to be priced separately and a determination will be made prior to award on FOB Destination or FOB Origin. Delivery is on or before May 15, 2019; Delivery Location is FDRMC DET BAHRAIN 1320, 1 JUFFAIR AVE WAREHOUSE 13, MANAMA, BH. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Procedures in FAR 13.106 are applicable to this procurement. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a combination of factors - a combination of price and a determination of responsibility.
