Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724, has issued task order VA118-16-D-1026 36C10B19N10260036 on a sole source basis to Pro-Sphere Tek, Inc., 1101 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 in the amount of $1,601,407.11 on March 17, 2019. The solicitation was issued to Pro-Sphere Tek, Inc. under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation vehicle on an other than full competition basis pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), entitled Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized. The approved justification is posted as part of this award announcement. Under this effort, the contractor shall provide continued professional and technical support services for the FSC Financial Technology Service (FTS), formerly the Information Technology Service, and its subdivisions. Specifically, under this proposed effort, the Contractor shall continue to provide services to support the IT infrastructure, operations, FSC projects, and various initiatives supported by FSC, on behalf of VA, and Other Government Agencies (OGAs). Further, the Contractor shall provide support services, and develop deliverables, for FSC software projects including new software projects, maintenance releases, and emergency software releases. The Contractor shall produce deliverables that align with the Veterans-Focused Integration Process (VIP). The Contractor shall perform resource planning in support of existing systems and applications, new software projects, maintenance releases, and emergency software releases. The Contractor shall manage resource levels and coordinate with FSC Project Managers to understand schedule timelines. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide transition support. The period of performance for this proposed Task Order shall be 30 days for continued service and one (1) 30-day Optional Task for transition support.
