Page 2 of 2 Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25219B0047 Project: TJC and Safety Corrections Project Number: 695-19-102 Location: Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement to perform TJC and Safety Corrections on the campus of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The work involves, but is not limited to, infection control, electrical work,, plumbing, general masonry, general carpentery, demolition (including hazardous materials abatement), metals/wood/plastics, signage, mechanicals & HVAC upgrades, and fire protection in the updating and correcting TJC and safety corrections on the campus of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. The project magnitude price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard $36.5 million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of three hundred and eighty days (380) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about April 19, 2019. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for May 21, 2019. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database.
