Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT MASSACHUSETTS NATIONAL CEMETERY; LOCATED IN BOURNE, MASSACHUSETTS, WITHIN BARNSTABLE COUNTY. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NC), is Soliciting Quote under Solicitation Number 36C78619Q0243 for the following: The Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, equipment, and professional service and supervision required for the construction and performance of all work In Accordance With (IAW) the Solicitation Plans, Specifications, Drawings, required permits, terms and conditions at Massachusetts National Cemetery, MA. DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to repair a section of the road at the Massachusetts National Cemetery as depicted in the Statement of Work (SOW), Specs and Drawings, located at The Massachusetts National Cemetery is located at Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA 02532, as follows: Removing identified section of asphalt road and curb. Remove and dispose from cemetery grounds. Removing 12-24 inches of subbase under existing road surface. Spoils may be dumped in cemetery spoils area; coordinate location with Cemetery Foreman. Install Geotextile fabric over compacted subbase; 12 inch (min) compacted stone base; 3-1/2 binder course and 1-1/2 asphalt top coarse New asphalt curb to match existing. Re-grade and seed disturbed areas. Coordinate seed mixture with cemetery foreman. COST MAGNITUDE: The Magnitude of Construction Cost Range is under $25,000.00 (In Accordance With (IAW) VAAR 836.204).
