Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) intends to purchase four (4) high-resolution, high-data-rate, 3 dimensional (3D) range sensors with high-accuracy upon the basis of the authority provided at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that the MultiSense S7 is the only 3D range sensor that meets all of the government's requirements listed below. This product is manufactured and sold directly by Carnegie Robotics LLC. This is based on market research conducted via the internet, expert opinion, contact with industry experts, and speaking with the company. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-JAN-2019). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 03-APR-2019, BUT REAPPEARED IN THE FTP FEED FOR THIS POSTING DATE.
