PURPOSE: The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region is soliciting for proposals for water quality analysis services for the Bureau of Reclamation Durango field office. The Year 2000 Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement developed for the Animas-La Plata Project requires Reclamation to develop and implement a water quality monitoring program in the Animas River from the pumping plant to the confluence with the San Juan River and to sample trace element levels in the water sites significant to Reclamation stipulations.
