- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development, National Risk Management Research Laboratory, has a requirement for two (2) continuous emissions monitors - NO/NOX analyzers. These instruments serve to replace an existing instrument and to allow for further sampling capabilities. The minimum technical specifications for these instruments are as follows: - Must support multiple ranges between 0-5 ppm and 0-3000 ppm inclusive - Noise less than 1% of full scale or 2% of measurement value - Detection principal must be chemiluminescence - Minimum detectable concentration 0.5 ppm or lower - Must have 0-10 VDC analog output - Must provide RS232 serial communication - NO2 converter must have efficiency greater than 90% - Must incorporate instrument diagnostic measurements, displaying warnings and error messages on screen when attention is required. - Interference must be less than 2% from 10% CO2, and less than 2% with 1% H20 (non-condensing) - Must exhibit no measurable interference from the following gases - 50 ppm CO, 20 ppm N2O, and 20 ppm SO2 - Must be linear within 1% of full-scale - Dry air for O3 generator must be internal - Zero/span drift must be less than 2% of full-scale over 24 hours - Ambient operating temperature range 5-40 °C - Supply voltage 100V-120V, 60 Hz The solicitation number is 68HERC19Q0063 and is issued as a request for quotation.
