Description
The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific at Fort Shafter, Hawaii intends to issue a solicitation on or about 9 Apr 19 for a firm, fixed-price contract for Basset Army Community Hospital in Alaska for hospital grade infant bassinets, quantity of 15 each, Part No. OEM-HALO-21100 Halo Bassinest, brand name or equal, and shall include the following salient characteristics: Bassinet height shall be easily adjustable by staff and mother while she remains in bed; bassinet height shall be able to assist mother with holding and breastfeeding infant, and allow staff to easily care for infant while standing; bassinet unit shall be mobile and easy for nurses to transport infants without lifting; bassinet unit wheels shall be lockable when stationary; bassinet unit shall be able to accommodate phototherapy treatment; bassinet unit's resting basket position shall be adjustable to allow for parents to be able to care for the infant while they are in bed, in a chair, or standing; bassinet unit shal be able to support ambulating postpartum mothers; bassinet unit resting basket shall be able to support infant weight and treatment/care activities; bassinet unit shall be cleanable with standard hospital cleaning agents. (i.e. Hydrogen peroxide, ammonium chloride, bleach solutions, 70% isopropyl alcohol); bassinet infant resting basket shall allow for safe and easy access from bedbound mothers; Bassinet Infant resting basket dimensions; Length, Depth and Width, shall provide a safe environment for infant while providing enough room to accommodate medical interventions, infant care, and newborn assessments. (approximately 26 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 6 inches deep) The product must be shipped to Basset Army Community Hospital. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, size standard is 1,000 employees, and the successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with NAICS 339112. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued, and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
