- SOURCES SOUGHT The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from verified Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned, Small Business (VOSB) concerns capable of offering: LEASE OF TWO (2) SPECIAL PURPOSE VEHICLES WITH THREE (3) OPTIONS YEARS. The Statement of Work (SOW) is ATTACHMENT 1 to this notice. To be verified, the VA s Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) examines details of a given business history, ownership, registration, and other related factors. The SDVOSB and VOSB concern is verified and then listed in the Vendor Information Portal (VIP) at: HTTPS://WWW.VIP.VETBIZ.VA.GOV/ Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, requests Letters of Interest from SDVOSBs/VOSBs who perform under NAICS code 532490 Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate decisions as to whether to set aside this procurement in alignment with the Vets First Contracting Program (to ensure that legitimately owned and controlled VOSB and SDVOSB firms are able to compete for VA setasides and are credited by VA's large prime vendor contractors for subcontract plan achievements). Responses must be emailed only to Gabriel Turner, Contract Specialist: GABRIEL.TURNER@VA.GOV In one an Adobe.pdf file or one MS Word document, the responses to this Sources Sought notice are required to be sent no later than 5:00 p.m. CT, April 10, 2019. The delivery and installation shall take place at the warehouse of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Please respond to the numbered bullets below and review and respond to the SOW, ATTACHMENT 1, which, in addition to other information, includes the items Salient Characteristics. 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, and business status 2. Indicate the primary nature of your business, any teaming agreements or arrangements, selfperformance and intentions of subcontracting, including set asides 3. Documentation relating to capability of performance. Prepare two (2) examples of projects similar in scope, complexity, and cost magnitude of the anticipated Leasing project. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a Market Research tool utilized to determine the availability of potential, qualified firms before determining the method of acquisition.
