Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, ARS, PWA, Albany, CA, intends to award a sole source procurement to CAMAG Scientific Inc., 515 Cornelius Harnett Drive, Wilmington, NC. 28401 for the CAMAG Automatic TLC Sampler 4 (ATS 4). The following will be provided by CAMAG Scientific Inc.: Product Specification: CAMAG Automatic TLC Sampler 4 (ATS 4) Instrument: Is fully automated requiring no user intervention after the application has started - Application of sample volumes between 0.1 and 5 μL by contact transfer - Application in the form of spots, bands or rectangles - Applies samples as narrow bands by spraying-on the samples with air or Nitrogen with a volume range of 100nL to 1mL and a band length range from 1mm to 190mm - Spray-on application of sample volumes between 0.5 and > 100 μL - Rinses needle after each sample to prevent carryover - Allows all steps of application to be programmed and recorded - Can be used with software or in standalone mode - Handles up to 66 samples - Can sample from very small volumes Software: - Completely controls instrument with user created methods which can be stored and reused with minimum alteration - Is compatible with other CAMAG PC controlled instruments - Utilizes a single file for control of all steps of analysis and data acquisition - Has internal instrument diagnostic capability for all instruments controlled - Conforms to GLP - Conforms to 21 CFR Part 11 Pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The equipment will be provided for the USDA-ARS-PWA, 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA. 94710. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on or about April 11, 2019. This Notice of Intent is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses received by 4:00PM Central Time, April 9, 2019. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
