MARKET SURVEY - SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: The Government is issuing this RFI/sources sought announcement as part of a market survey. The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division is seeking potential suppliers for the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of a Chemical Inventory Management System limited to the hazardous chemicals required for the fabrication, assembly, and failure analysis of printed circuit boards and closely-related interconnect and electronic packaging. The primary focus of this service is to support the ongoing and continuous capability of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) - Crane, in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Fabrication facility and the co-located assembly operation through safe and timely supply and replenishment of the hazardous materials necessary to the many individual processes. Qualified contractors will, at a minimum, maintain accreditation by the National Association of Chemical Distributors, and have demonstrated capability to perform and comply with the requirements of the attached Statement of Work document. The project will support Crane's PCB facility enabling fabrication of these devices in a limited production and prototype environment. Tasking will include developing and refining the process and procedures during a 6-month initial period while maintaining continuous availability of the materials needed for the PCB manufacturing process and include complete process characterization, documentation and training.
