Description

The Office of Naval Intelligence intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(ii). (See attached LSJ). The proposed source is W. R. Davis Engineering Ltd. The procurement is annual renewal of software and maintenance support services for ShipIR/NTCS software support. The software and maintenance support is proprietary to the manufacturer. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
