The purpose of this SS is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for the acquisition of Spacesaver © (or equal) Mechanical Assist Shelving Unit/Storage Cabinets. Background The Department of Veterans Affairs Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center Engineering requires Mechanical Assist Shelving Unit/Storage Cabinets to free up much needed floor space in all the shops within Engineering Service. Scope The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to Delivery, Install, Warranty and clean up and removal of any debris created during the delivery and installation. Specific Tasks 1. Contractor shall create mobile system and file storages from various models for the Construction Shop, Electrical Shop, HVAC Shop, Machine Shop, and Plumbing Shop as described below. Site Cleanup and removal of all related debris The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of Small Businesses capable of performing the requirements to warrant a set-aside. The proposed solicitation is to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and transportation required to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center with complete Spacesaver © (or equal) Mechanical Assist Shelving Unit/Storage Cabinets for each of the areas described above. Contractor shall also comply with any other federal, state, and local laws applicable to the industry. Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required services and capability to provide such services. Potential sources should submit: business name and address; point of contact; Business Size, and any applicable business Socio-Economic Category; capability statement; provide information for recent and relevant projects similar in nature; DUNS number; contract number if applicable; Brochure of Equipment. The NAICS code for this procurement is 337215 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Christopher A.
